Traditional Jujitsu
Imagine being unarmed and facing a multitude of armor-protected enemies in the middle of a battlefield. What do you do? Jujitsu was born of this reflection. This martial art has its origins in Japanese samurai warriors. It combines striking, throwing, dislocation and ground fighting techniques.

Jujitsu is a discipline derived from Judo and an effective system of personal defence. It can be practiced by any kind of profile and is based on mutual aid. His watchwords: values, technique and physical preparation.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
“For many, the ground is the end … For us, it’s just the beginning.”

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (JBB for those in the know) consists of subduing your opponent using throwing techniques, strangulation and joint locks. No fists or feet here! Everything takes place on the ground. This discipline is based on the philosophy that an individual can defend himself against an opponent with greater physical strength.

What equipment and clothing are needed to practice Jiu Jitsu?

A comfortable Jiu Jitsu kimono, tightened at the sleeves and pants to prevent easy grabs. It is also possible to practice JBB without keikogi (“no gi”)! Fighters are dressed in simple shorts and a rash guard to protect them from rubbing against the mat.
Protective accessories are extremely important in this discipline if you want to progress with complete peace of mind.
A Jujitsu belt completes the outfit and marks the practitioner’s progress.
