Tozando has created a new kind of aïkido gi using an innovative fiber called Unitika Pulper, combining the strengths of polyester and cotton. The fabric is treated with a plant called Yomogi or Japanese mugwort (Artememisia princeps) known for its antibacterial and anti-odor effects.
This aïkido gi is made in the traditional way by Tozando tailors in Iwate, Japan.
Perfect for pairing with Yomogi Dogi, these lightweight aïkido pants stay cool throughout practice and are particularly suited to practice in the warmer months.
Like all our aïkido pants, they have been specially designed for aïkido practice, with double thickness from the knee down for extra comfort and durability during suwari-waza.
Sizes can be mixed with the yomogi keikogi jacket ref. AG260W.
