The DAX brand was created in 1989 and was initially dedicated solely to Judo equipment. Over the years, DAX has developed equipment for other martial arts and is now represented all over the world.

Today, DAX is best known for its martial arts: Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing and Kick-Boxing. It is best known in its core market of Germany. DAX is also a partner of the German National Judo League and national teams in various martial arts.

DAX also offers a range of punching bags for boxing and kick boxing, as well as doboks for Taekwondo.
