Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, uses every part of the body to strike its opponent. This discipline combines fists, feet, elbows and knees. Its origins lie in ancestral martial arts practices, and the emphasis is on freedom of movement.

The “Art of the Eight Limbs” requires strong technical skills, muscle power and quick decision-making. Muay Thai fights are organized into 5 rounds of 3 minutes each. What makes them special? They are preceded by a traditional dance, also called “Wai Kru”.
What about clothing and protection?
The outfit consists of lightweight shorts with a wide cut. A pair of gloves is also essential to protect your hands, while delivering high-performance blows. Daisho also sells protective gear such as helmets, mouth guards and ear muffs.
