The Take jacket is made from a thick, durable cotton canvas, which has been lined at the front from the thigh upwards, so that the jacket can be reinforced for the demanding suwariwaza of Aikido.
The rest of the jacket is made from a single layer of cotton canvas, which means it dries faster and is more comfortable to wear.
They can be tightened and tied with the strings on the sides.
It’s designed to be sturdy and easy to wear, and to withstand the movements typical of Aikido practitioners.
These jackets are made by our experienced tailors in the Tozando workshop in Iwate, Japan.
