The Maurice is a premium mobile bar made up of two bars and cast-iron bases. With a total weight of 74 kg, it is designed for dance specialists looking for excellence in a mobile bar.
Total stability to satisfy the most demanding
La Maurice offers impressive stability, enabling several dancers to perform intense exercises simultaneously. The bases, weighing 30 kg each, are made of cast iron and equipped with 4 high-density rubber castors. As a result, the bar can easily be moved by a single person. Once the bar is in place, the base is designed so that the castors do not touch the floor, guaranteeing unrivalled firmness in a portable model.
Two heights for dancers of different heights.
Thanks to the two wooden bars placed 83 and 105 cm from the floor, dancers of different ages and heights can comfortably work on their battements and dégagés. Dinamica Ballet’s exclusive supports hold the wooden bar without damaging it, and distribute the tension exerted by the dancer from any angle. The combination of cast-iron bases and double supports provides absolute stability, allowing you to concentrate fully on your technique. This bar is available with 2 and 3-meter wooden bars.

The Maurice bar, named in honor of French choreographer Maurice Béjart, was the first model we created. The first Maurice still stands at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, where it is still used in dance classes. The high-quality steel poles have a silver-colored epoxy finish that protects them from knocks and scratches. The bars, made of yellow pine from sustainable forests, are strong and slightly flexible, ideal for advanced exercises. The perfectly polished, unvarnished wood offers a pleasant, warm feel and good grip. We supply the Maurice bar with posts and bases already installed. So you can get to work as soon as you receive it.
