The classic bokken is made of solid red oak and weighs between 500 and 600 grams. 

It comes with the tsuba ( hand guard) and the tsuba mount. The blade has a narrow profile.  

The center of gravity is located a little further along the handle here.
To protect the wooden sword and allow for realistic practice of drawing the sword, there is a suitable saya ( plastic sword sheath).
This wooden sword is made from very strong and stable wood.
The bokken is a traditional Japanese wooden sword that is well-suited for training in place of the katana.
