The Avant bar is a professional model with two types of base available. With a height of 103 centimetres, it’s the ideal bar for effective training at dance school or at home.
Exceptional stability and strength
The exclusive design of the supports in our professional range distributes the pressure the dancer exerts on the bar, and the steel bases offer great stability. Studies carried out in the materials elasticity laboratory of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia prove that the bar can withstand forces of up to 400 kg. The Avant bar is recognized both by professionals seeking high performance and by amateurs looking for stability to perform the most demanding exercises at home.
Base with or without castors to suit your needs
The Avant model is part of our range of professional mobile bars. We offer two types of steel base: a base with two castors, weighing 20 kg, and a flat base without castors, weighing 10 kg. The base with high-density rubber castors offers great stability and lets you move the bar effortlessly by tilting it 45 degrees. The flat base is designed so you can move the bar without it touching the floor.
In both cases, the bases are fitted with PVC glides to protect the floor, even if it’s wooden. If you plan to take the Avant bar on tour, or if you need to move it often, we recommend the castor model. If you only plan to move it occasionally, or if there are two of you, the flat base is more suitable. Total weight with castor bases and 2-meter wooden bar is 48 kg. The weight of the set with the bases without castors is 32 kg.
