The Pina is a mobile ballet bar from our professional range, designed with brackets for two wooden bars fixed at two different heights: 79.5 and 102 cm. On the market for over 10 years, the Pina is one of the most popular models used in dance schools around the world, catering for dancers of all ages and sizes. The two types of base available, with or without castors, give you the flexibility to organize your training sessions.
A bar designed for classes with dancers of different ages
The two wooden bars, 19 centimetres apart, allow two dancers of different sizes to use it at the same time, enabling you to work with groups of different ages. Dinamica Ballet’s exclusive double-support design distributes the pressure the dancer exerts on the bars. Studies carried out at the Barcelona Polytechnic University’s Laboratory of Elasticity and Resistance of Materials prove that the bar can withstand forces of up to 400 kg.
Base with or without castors to suit your workspace
The PINA model is part of our range of professional mobile bars. We offer two types of steel base: one with two castors, which weighs 20 kg, and a flat base without castors, which weighs 10 kg. The base with high-density rubber castors offers great stability and lets you move the bar effortlessly by tilting it 45 degrees. The flat base is designed so you can move the bar by lifting it, without it touching the floor. In both cases, the bases are fitted with PVC glides to protect the floor, even on parquet.
If you need to move the bar often, we recommend the model with castors. If you only plan to move it occasionally, or if there are two of you, the flat base is more suitable. Total weight with castor bases and 2-meter wooden bar is 52 kg. The total weight with the bases without castors is 36 kg.
Steel and wood, the ideal combination for an excellent dance bar
Our bars made from yellow pine wood from sustainable forests are strong and slightly flexible, ideal for advanced exercises. The perfectly polished, unvarnished wood offers a pleasant feel, good grip and natural beauty. The brackets firmly surround the bars without the need to drill holes in the wood, guaranteeing thousands of hours of use and ease of installation. Bases and brackets are made of high-grade steel with a silver-colored epoxy finish that offers high resistance to impact and scratches. La Pina is available with 2 and 3 mètres wooden bars.
